The Catholic University of Valencia was established in 2003, with the Church of St. Valentine, the Catholic University of Valencia “St. Vincent Martyr” becoming an incomparable center for creativity. The university has been occupied for more than fifty years by the University School of Nursing “Ntra. Sra. De los Desamparados”, more than thirty by the Edetania Foundation and more by ten by the Faculty of Business Studies. At the same time, it is known for its demanding quality of university life: the joint work between faith and reason; the strengthening of a university community in a climate of academic friendship; and the purpose of creating and maintaining a uniquely personalized educational relationship with the university students.
The Catholic University is a continuation of the university work carried out for more than thirty years by the Edetania Foundation, with the cooperation of some religious institutions. With the foundation of the Catholic University of Valencia founded in 2003, the university formed a conglomerate of four faculties:
– Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences
– Faculty of Psychology and Health Sciences
– Faculty of Sociology and Human Sciences
– Faculty of Experimental Sciences
On February 4, 2005, the prestigious School of Nursing Our Lady of the Renegades, the current School of Nursing, joined this wide university offer. The Faculty of Business Sciences was also approved. Also, on March 13, 2007, the Faculty of Medicine and its institution established itself as the university with the highest academic offerings in Valencia.

The Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir is a private Catholic university, located in Valencia. It also has campuses in Godella, Burjassot, Torrent, Alzira and Xativa.
